Gangneung Gyeongpo Beach Beer Festival 2019

Hello!
I am the manager of Gangneung Tours!
I will tell you about Gyeongpo Beach Beer Festival which was held for the first time in Gangneung. 

The first Gyeongpo Beach Beer Festival was held from July 12 to 14, 2019.
I I will tell you about the festival and its programs.

This is the guidebook of the Gyeongpo Beach Beer Festival.
The festival is divided into the beer zone, the performance and event zone, the tasting zone,
​the healing zone, and the food truck.
The names of participated companies are written below the numbers of the beer zone.
The guidebook makes it easier for you to find where you want to go!

To prevent environmental pollution caused by plastic products, the festival serves you with filled beer regardless
​of the tumbler capacity (below 400ml) when you order it with your own tumbler.
How to participate and precautions are well described in the venue!

This is the beer zone.
As you can see in the picture, there are 16 handmade beer companies,
​good and wine booths from all over the country at the central plaza of the Gyeongpo Beach.
I will talk to you briefly about each booth.

Booth Number 1 is Beer Vana Seoul from Seoul.
The company sells handmade beer runs a brewery in Seoul, and also host a brewery tour.
 
Booth Number 2 is Dinobrewingco from Changwon.
It is a leading handmade beer brewery in Changwon, and professional brewers develop and produce beer.

Booth Number 3 is MontBeer from Sokcho.
It produces and sells handmade beer and beef jerky.
 
Booth Number 4 is White Crow Brewing from Pyeongchang.
It makes beer with clean natural rock water 220 meters below ground to taste
​authentic North American handmade beer.

Booth Number 5 is Budnamu Brewery from Gangneung.
It makes beer with the taste symbolizing Gangneung, such as pine, iris, black bamboo and coffee.
If you drink it, it tastes definitely different from other beers and it's delicious!
 
Booth Number 6 is The Table Brewing Company.
It has own three awards this year in the annual Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
With the history, it will guarantee the taste.

Booth Number 7 is Moo and Beber Brewing from Gwang-ju, Kyong-gi province.
Two brewers, who studied brewery in Berlin and gained experience in Madrid, are running it.
 
Booth Number 8 is Praha 993 from Busan.
It recreated the exact taste of Czech beer using the recipe of the Prague monastery brewery and malt!

Booth Number 9 is Amazing Brewing Company from Seoul.
It brews more than 30 kinds of handmade beer every day.
 
Booth Number 10 is Whasoo Brewery from Ulsan.
You can enjoy a wide range of fresh handmade beer made by the brewery at a reasonable price.

Booth Number 11 is Gangneung Brewery from Gangneung.
This is a special brewery to make handmade beer and house makgeolli in Gangneung.
Since I live in Gangneung, I will try makgeolli next time.
 
Booth Number 12 is Caligari Brewing from Incheon.
This is a handmade beer that represents the taste of Incheon beer!

Booth Number 13 is Hiddentrack Brewing.
It is a handmade beer brewery founded by a home brewer.

Booth Number 14 is Levee Brewing from Suwon.
It is a famous pub for its exotic atmosphere in Suwon.
The handmade beer tastes fresh and exotic.

Booth Number 15 is Kabrew from Gapyeong.
Based on the free emotions of Kumiho (legendary fox with nine tails),
​it makes handmade beer with various creative challenges.
That’s why there is kumiho in the brand mark!
 
Booth Number 16 is The Ranch Brewing from Daejeon.
Starting from Daejeon, it has its direct store in Seoul!
If you drink it, you will know why it has its direct store in Seoul.

Booth Number 17 is a booth that sells goods.
It sells various goods such as T-shits, towels, tumblers and more.

Booth Number 18 is a booth where you can buy allvinwine.
You can also try the recommended wine by Korea’s signature sommelier Kim Hyub,
​so if you want do drink wine instead of beer, you can buy it here!

There is the performance and event zone near the central plaza of Gyeongpo Beach.
Various busking and band performances were held here!

Next place to introduce is the healing zone!
This is a place where visitors can relax while enjoying the wonderful Gyeongpo beach with comfortable chairs.

In the evening, the beer zone was crowded with visitors.
Many visitors came to enjoy the festival.

Snacks are essential when you drink beer. isn’t it?
There was the food truck zone where visitors could buy various foods when they drink beer.
You can buy food that suits your taste.

Space for drinking beer is a must!
So the tasting zone has been prepared.
Since the tasting zone has tables and chairs, visitors can enjoy beer.
The operation hours for the tasting zone are until 10 p.m., so you have to refer to it.

Finally, there is a party to enjoy the night!
The beach BJ beer party has been performed.
You can enjoy the Gyeongpo Beach Beer Festival while dancing to the rhythm.
