Heo Gyun’s elder sister, Heo Nanseolheon was a poet.
Her poetry was very popular even in China and Japan.
In the era it was criticized that women expressed their thoughts by poems,
and even the story of ‘Hong Gildong Jeon’ was very shocking to the high class.

The brother and sister were pioneers in Joseon literature,
and both lives were very rough and ended tragically.
