'Chodang Sundubu' known as Gangneung's representative food is special,
as it is made out of sea water rather than salt
so it is softer and has a rich taste than any other tofu 'sundubu'.
There are about 20 Chodang Soondubu restaurants inside the Cho dang village.
Each restaurant in the village serves soondubu as the main menu
with its own feature and has a foreign language menu.
1. Sonamoo House
Sonamoo House is famous for jjamppong soondubu.
It has been remodeled recently and plates side dishes neatly, so it seems like a brand new restaurant.
Jjamppong soondubu can be recommended to foodies preferring spicy food.

2. Go Bun Ok Grandmother House
They have two menus of soondubu baekban(7,000 won) and dubu jjigae(8,000 won).
To pour soybean sauce into the bowl of soondubu little by little and mix is how to eat soondubu baekban.
Dubu jjigae is spicy, dubu-flavored and kimchi added.
It closes at 5:00 p.m. It is earlier time than other restaurants. Don’t be late!

3. Cha Hyeonhi Chunggukjang Soondubu
It is famous for smell-less cheonggukjang.
They have cheonggukjang, soondubu jeongol, soondubu and others on the menu.
Side dishes, including grilled fish, are bountiful and neat.
